Really?

Another one for our Really? series . . .

Really Rocky Mountain NP 021

This guy was playing the bagpipes on the Tundra Communities Trail off Trail Ridge Road (at 12,000 feet!) We learned later the Longs Peak Scottish-Irish Highland Festival was going on in Estes Park.

  1. Maureen,

I have SO enjoyed your tour of the national parks this summer! Thanks for sharing! We were also in Mesa Verda…after you. But your pictures now in the Rockies remind me of why it’s my favorite!! We always say we came to Texas….on our way to Colorado. Just never made it. And don’t knock your photography. You have gotten beautiful shots.

We miss you and look forward to your return. You have been so fortunate to have avoided this blistering summer. Your hiking would have been limited in this weather.

Hope you’re getting more quilting done than I am.

    • Thanks so much, Sheri! It has been a wonderful trip. But, now I’m looking forward to coming home (especially since the brutal heat seems to have broken!)

      Sew you soon! Maureen
