Santa Fe

We did all of the traditional tourist things in Santa Fe, but didn’t end up taking any pictures. The highlight for me had to be the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum. They were having a special exhibit – Georgia O’Keeffe and Ansel Adams: Natural Affinities.

We also went to the Museum of International Folk Art. It was actually a bit overwhelming for me – they just had so many things, but no quilts. There was also a special exhibit called needles + pins (textiles and tools) which included a collection of textiles and folk art from the Neutrogena Corporation. But, once again no quilts. It did make me want to take up weaving.

We did do one “normal” thing while in Santa Fe – we went to the movies to see Indiana Jones. We’ve talked about going a few times, but in Santa Fe the movie theatre was close to the campground. It was too windy to do much else while we there.
