The last time we visited Kerrville we didn’t make it to the Museum of Western Art, but since we had some extra time on this trip we took the short drive. It was an interesting museum, although not very large.
You couldn’t take pictures inside but I did take these photos of the bronzes outside. I’m not really sure about the indian – it was a bit weird. One of the coolest things about the museum is that all of the floors were made out of mesquite cut into small tiles. You don’t see that very often.
There were, of course, a lot of bronze sculptures along with the paintings in the Museum. Both Alan and I thought that several of the drawings in colored pencil were really amazing. There was so much detail they looked like photos.
