Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge

On Sunday, after leaving Canaveral National Seashore, we drove through the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge.  We stopped at the Manatee viewing area to see if we could get a glimpse of the big creatures.  There were at least two if not three hanging out near by but this is the best picture we managed to take:

The manatees like to hang out in this one spot near the Haulover Canal.  We saw the drawbridge open to let a sailboat through.
